I'm sorry that we were not able to update our blog while we were in Ethiopia! I couldn't get to my email or blogger, but I could get to Facebook! :)
We arrived home on Sunday June 26th at 2:00pm. We had such an AMAZING time in Africa! First, we were able to meet our son and spend several hours with him the first four days we were there! We feel really fortunate to have had such quality time with him! Second, we met so many caring and generous people in Ethiopia that we cannot wait to get back to see! Third, we spent time with some amazing adoptive families in the same stage of the process! Fourth, we were able to spend time with our friend, Krista, and her son who are there awaiting their clearance to travel home!
Our case has not yet been approved by the court, because the judge is waiting for some additional paperwork before she can approve the case. We are hopeful that we will be approved soon!
I will be sure to write more when I have recovered from the long trip home! Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers while we were gone!
