Now that our trip is only 3 days away, I'm realizing that I have nothing together. If you saw our house right now, you would know what I mean...our camera on the nightstand, our video camera on the console table downstairs, one carry-on (empty, of course) in the coat closet, the other carry-on (with only two items in it) on the floor of the loft, the large suitcase of donations (stuffed full) on the floor of Keane's room, half of the clothes I'm taking on the ironing board, and a billion toiletries and medications spread over the sink in the master bathroom.
I'm starting to think that Friday night and Saturday will be VERY BUSY! :) No matter how hard I try, I'm sure I'll forget something. The ONLY thing I care about is getting to Ethiopia, holding my son, and standing in front of the judge to tell her how much I want to love and care for this child!
Thinking of you! And I agree -- all that matters is being there and meeting your son. The rest will fall into place as it will. Enjoy your time in ET and I can't wait to read about it!
