We are so Blessed!

Several months ago, Mike and I learned that the Ethiopia adoption program had changed and we would be required to travel to Ethiopia two times, instead of one. This change added a significant cost to an already expensive process. We were at a point where we could change programs, but had already fallen in love with Ethiopia and the beautiful children there...so we decided to stick with it and just make it work somehow!

Mike's mom and Aunt Ann came up with an idea to hold a Quilt Raffle, with all proceeds going to our Adoption Fund. They made a fantastic quilt and sent out letters to family and friends on both sides of our family. They left it up to Mike and I to keep track of the raffle entries and we are going to pick a winner on November 1st!

We have been so surprised and overwhelmed by the generosity and support of family/friends through their donations to our Adoption Fund. We decided that we would use all of the funds from the Quilt Raffle to pay for our child's plane ticket home...so all of you who donated play a direct role in bringing our child home!
