Mike and I went away for a short get-away for Memorial Day weekend. It was a fabulous time in French Lick, Indiana! I have been off of work all week and got the kiddo's room cleaned out - the room is completely empty, minus an empty dresser.
We received our travel vaccines on Wednesday - wow that was a lot of shots! I received 7 of them, and Mike received 6. . .we didn't realize that it was going to hurt so much! We are still sore, but happy to have them completed - one more thing checked off of our list!
We found out that we have to re-do two of our documents- the Director of the Ethiopia program has changed, so we have to have a new Power of Attorney notarized. We also found out that one of our reference letters is going to expire prior to sending our dossier to Ethiopia, so I had to ask for a new one (thanks, Larry)!
Now we are just awaiting our fingerprinting appointment on the 14th, and then we will have everything that we can control completed. Once we receive our approval from Immigration, we can have our documents authenticated in Washington, D.C.
Whew! Then we are FINALLY on the waiting list. . .
